Dear God

Dear God you sit in front of me smiling like this you know it all you see it all don’t you. We genuinely care for so few a people in our lives and even at them we get angry at the smallest mistakes they make yet after I have made all the big blunders you are just smiling at me blessing me and blessing me as always.
It is just a matter of placing yourself at the receiving end asking yourself if you could have committed the same mistake and how would you have reacted to a firing like that and did you actually deserve to be roughed up for it. All anger will fade away automatically.

I love you for what you have given me
I wait for what you will give me
With my hands folded and my head bowed I pray to you God
Teach me the art of making people smile when they are sad

YOU

With a beautiful heart and a wonderful nature
You are one of god’s most treasured creatures
With those sparkling eyes when you bestow a smile
You light up lives like lightning in the sky

A mere thought of you lifts away all gloom
For anger and hate you leave no room
You are for me a breath of fresh air
That brings along with it the morning fair

You may be moody you may be strange
But you are the best you need not change
All that’s beautiful need not be fair
But if there is one it is certainly rare

That is why I like you so
You radiate love wherever you go
In my prayers to god all I ask
Is you get what is good and the better you ask

love qoutes

Love demands surrender. Surrender of hate of ego of pride of anger and all such emotions that weigh a man down and hold him back from feeling the bliss that one finds in the divinity of love.

Love is when you think you are alone and you know that you are not

Death

All who come have to go
It is the boat of life that we all row
Moments of calm are followed by the storm
Many we fight and in one we drown.

It is not my death that I fear
For it is the home of god that I near
All that I ask is for no one to weep
For my love for u all runs too deep

Your eyes are bright with unshed tears
Our hearts are full of doubts and fears
But if you love me do as I say
Keep on smiling come what may.

After living my life to see you smile
If you cry in the end the agony you pile
My body I may leave but my love survives
As the smile on your face as the sparkle in your eyes.

Love

There is very basic question we ask ourselves sometimes that what is the difference between liking someone very much and actually loving someone. Also what falling in love means and why use the word falling. Both the questions have similar answers. We can know the very truth about our feelings about liking or loving someone if we ask ourselves some basic questions. One if we expect the person involved to respond in the same manner as we want them to then you can say that it is more of liking than love because when we love we do so unconditionally without expectations. Also we can see the difference when we are angry with them if the heart forces the mind to think rationally and look at their point of view then you can say that yes you are in love whereas if you feel all betrayed and misunderstood then you need to give more time for the relation to develop. You will know the difference when you list out your priorities at a time when u both are upset. If you are strong enough to give a shoulder when needed forgetting your troubles then you are in love no question about it because you know that the smile that you can bring on their face is priceless and you will forget all your troubles when you see the smile back on because that is all you live for don’t you. But if you feel that your problem needs attention and it’s a major one compared to the small hassles being pointed out then at the most you can be a good friend. Similarly there are many situations when the way we react tells us what we feel for people involved and to be truthful you cant lie to your own self so at one time or the other it is clear to you whether you like a person or you are in love for the answer lies within us we just need to be honest enough to search for them. Again when we talk of falling in love we talk of a relation that involves give and take, which is more of a convenient adjustment rather than the one of give it all, which makes any relation a truly divine one.

Broken heart

THE BROKEN HEART
Loved you I have with all I could give
Wherever I went wrong I beg you to forgive
Now that I know you love me not
It is in a dilemma you have me caught.

Whether to stay away from you and live with a broken Heart
Or stand by you as a friend and play my part
The time I spent with you I will slice with a knife
And with those beautiful memories will float through life.

Every tear that falls from my eye adds to the sea
In its depth you will see the end of me
My love if not divine was strong enough
To carry us through when the road was rough

The one you love will be the best
What hurts me most is that I failed the test
The story of a broken heart can never be told
I will sit by the fireside and still feel the cold.

Science and religion

An eminent scientist was quoted saying that where science ceases to explain philosophy starts. It is true to a large extent. The concept of the soul of the human body has recently been acknowledged by scientists all over the world. This concept has been explained in our scriptures ages ago. What i am trying to express here is that one should not be rigid in ones attitude thereby rubbishing what all others have to say. The researchers in united states have patented the word OM as to being a latest invention of theirs a word which when transmitted in the universe comes back with a tremendous amount of " positive energy". The word OM has been used in our Vedas for centuries is the first word every kid learns. This is one of the examples which proves that behind every line of philosophy there is a reason. Mind u I am using the word philosophy not superstition. The nonsense about cats being a sign of ill luck and not leaving the house immediately after you sneeze and the concept of untouchables has been blindly followed for centuries because no one has been strong enough to question them and put a stop to them. We all think it to be much more convenient to say "oh i don’t believe in all this " and forget it their. Science fails to explain a very basic question that must have asked in every persons mind at one time or the other that we always refer to as too philosophical and avoid as to why .Why is it that that the earth is unlike other planets in the solar system. yes because we have the right distance from the sun and the right atmospheric conditions so life evolved . then why is it that the human beings were born after the Jurassic period science says atmospheric conditions were not suitable and now they are .What they do not want to acknowledge is that we were meant to be born during this period rule during this period as they did during the Cretous and the Jurassic era. We do not want to acknowledge the simple fact that their are things beyond our control that we cannot change or even try to change. That is very apparent from the statement people issue when they say that if things carry on as they are one day the earth will be destroyed. That is crap and all it is doing is increasing their own sense of importance. We cannot destroy the earth howsoever we may try all we can do is destroy our self destroy the human race and maybe some other forms of life. Even it the worst case of celestial collision some protozoa bacteria will survive and breed ages later and another race will evolve and life will start again.

I would advice anyone who is looking for a good read to try Ashok Bankers Ramayana series. It is an amazing read because the writer succeeds in capturing our imagination and actually taking us back to the time when this epic event takes place. The only drawback present is that Mr Banker should have been a bit more responsible when it came to writing about an Indian epic to capture the audiences abroad. I am sure the great sage Valmiki never meant Kaikeyi the queen to be called a "Harlot" or a "Slut" by any author ever. The book by standards of fiction writing is excellent but for an author writing about Indian tradition Mr Banker should have been a bit more careful.
